| About Our Services What kinds of parties or events do you do? You name it! Almost anyplace there will kids or adults who want to do something fun and different! Children's Birthday Parties, Teenagers’ Birthday Parties, Adults' Birthday Parties, Family Parties/Picnics/Reunions, Holiday Parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvah’s, Weddings, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Graduation/End of School Year Parties, Sporting Events, Mom's Club Gatherings or Meetings, Community Outreaches, Church Functions, Corporate Events, Fairs, Festivals, Car Shows and Fundraisers Are You A Clown or a Character? We come in colorful professional clothes. We do not dress like a clown or act like one, nor are we characters....HOWEVER we would be more then happy to book a character for you. We have many friends that would love to come out to your party to excite and entertain the kids. Book a character with our professional face painting! Do you do anything other than Face Painting? Yes! We offer a variety of other activities like: Nail Art, Hair Wraps & Braids, Temporary Tattoos and Natural Henna Body Art, Craft Workshops, Karaoke, Party Games, Clown/Circus Photos Boards Pictures (Other characters available upon request), Bean Bag Toss, Dart Boards, Reptile Fun, Mini R/C Racers with Track. Do you do any party planning, or can you help me with the party? YES! We will plan your party from beginning to end, including invitations, decorations, party supplies, cake & delights, activities and more. We do not however cater parties, but can refer you to a caterer to suit your needs. About Our Face Painting Will Face Painting alone be enough Entertainment for my party? Yes! Kids love face painting and they get very excited when they see our design board! Most parties we do have just face painting or FP and a bounce house, and it is enough to keep the kids busy and happy. You can also have games or crafts, which we also provide. We will set up a package to meet your needs. What ages do you paint? I paint children ages 2 & up. However, I usually can only do a limited range of simple designs on 2 year olds (they can be a little squirmy & afraid of strangers & new experiences!). Usually cheek art is the only option for toddlers. Most children 3 & up have no problem sitting still. What kind of paints do you use? All our paints are safe and non-toxic. We use a variety of products which are meant for the face and skin and FDA approved. Do you paint teenagers and adults? Absolutely! Although we specialize in children’s parties, we often end up painting teenagers and adults too. We find that most teens/adults prefer bodyart (arms, legs, back, shoulders) and often choose to go with our Natural Henna designs, but we will do whatever bodyart you or your guests prefer. Are your designs airbrushed with stencils or hand-painted? We hand-paint everything with paintbrushes or sponges. We don't do airbrush Face Painting. Do you paint full-face designs? Yes. We paint full-face designs, cheek art and bodyart. We bring display boards for each so the children can choose what they like, where they are comfortable being painted. Prices & Payment Options What are your Prices? We will personalize a package to suit your needs, so pricing depends on our length of stay, how many and what activities. Our fees are VERY reasonable and we have something for everyone's budget. Parties start at $115/per hour for cheek art and $125/per hour for full faces. How do you distinguish a Party from an Event? A Party has a fixed number of children, and we arrange just enough time for us to paint them all. An Event has a large, undetermined number of children. Anytime there will be more children/people than we can paint. However, some parties are so large that they fall into the event category and that rate applies. If you have any questions, please ask. Do you ever give discounts, negotiate prices, or charge less for subsequent hours? Mostly for corporate events and non-profit organizations, but there have been occasion where we have offered discounts, please call for further information. Do you accept credit cards? Yes! You can pay with a credit card online through PayPal or by calling in your credit card information. How else can I pay for the entertainment? We accept Money Orders, Cashier Checks or Personal Checks. Note that a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your day. Am I expected to tip you? Tips are appreciated and accepted, but never expected. Do you offer Gift Certificates? Yes! You can purchase Gift Certificates for any amount and are redeemable at any public event where we have a booth (Call for our upcoming schedule). You can also redeem your certificates over $100, for a private event and we will come to you! Booking Information How far in advance do I need to book you? We have no set policy. As long as we're available, we accept last minute bookings with no extra charge. However, you need to book us as early as possible to ensure someone else doesn’t take your day. There is just no way to predict how early any particular day will get booked. It could be 2 months or 2 days in advance. We suggest booking your party at least 5-6 weeks in advance. What cities do you work in? We cover all of Southern California including Los Angeles County, Orange County, Inland Empire, San Bernardino County, San Gabriel Valley and all surrounding cities. We can work outside of SoCal, with the understanding that our traveling expenses will be covered as part of the package. Do you work in parks? Yes, with no extra charge. Please make sure whenever you reserve a space at a park, that you tell them you are having a Face Painter, and obtain any special permits to have us there. Don't forget to leave a parking space open for us, so we can unload our equipment. Do you work Sundays or Holidays? Yes, both. Except Easter Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Can I have you offer the kids a limited menu of only your quickest designs? Yes. We can offer the cheek art board for quicker designs, however many of our full face designs are quicker then the detailed cheek art. How far into the party should I have you begin? We like to start at the beginning of the party, because it gives us more flexibility. If you decide to have us stay longer, the party will still be going on when we have finished our pre-arranged time. Even if your guests are a little late, we can start on the Birthday Child and their siblings. There is usually always a guest or two around. The Party Do you paint just the children at parties, or do you also paint the adults? We paint adults all the time at parties! Our Face Painting appeals to all ages. Some Clients have us paint everyone, some have us just paint the children. It just depends on which entertainment package you choose. The more people, the more time it will take. We always discuss this issue ahead of time with our Clients. How do you handle parties with both boys & girls? We always put out all design samples, whether it is all boys, all girls, or both. There are boys who ask for butterflies, and there are girls who ask for dragons! We have plenty of “girlie” designs, and plenty of designs boys think are cool! How do you organize the Face Painting at parties? The children are free to come and go to enjoy other activities. We encourage them to do so…but many times they all want to watch their friends being painted which it great! Do I need to provide anything for you like a table and chairs, or shade? No. We have our own supplies, but we do need to know whether or not to bring them to your event. We will however discuss this arrangement when you book the party. |
